Last week in the hall we did a hoop game for team building. We were assigned four teams of ten and we were given five hoops each. We had to get across the ‘magic river.’ The hoops were rafts, and they could only hold two feet and one hand in each raft. If someone’s foot or hand went out of the raft it was game over and they had to go back to the start. If one of their hoops were left in the ‘magic river’ for more than ten seconds then it got taken away from them. The first team to get across the the riverbank wins!!!
It was hard getting there because we had to communicate with each other and figure out who was standing in what hoop. There was a lot of problems, strategies, successes and failures. But everyone got there, and we had a really fun time working together as a team!
